Polymer Science

Almost 20 years ago Polymer Science and your company decided to make our journal a state-of-the-art scientific periodical able to compete with the world's leading polymer journals. It was a worthy task both for you and us. Looking back, we can say: we did it and it was not bad at all! Every time we pick up the current issue of the journal, we feel glad. Polymer Science has greatly enlarged over these 15 years, but the first years are unforgettable. We would like to thank all your staff for help and cooperation.

Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Since its launch in 1931 and up to 1991, our journal had "spoken" only Russian. The creation of the English language edition was a big event in the history of Herald and in the history of the Academy as well. Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences has always been a voice of all scientists of Russia. In March 2001 Herald celebrated its 70th anniversary. The issues of the journal are the true history of science in Russia.

Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis

In the 1990s there were great changes in this country and in the publishing industry as well. These changes were brought by Alexander Shustorovich, a young Harvard University graduate, President of Pleiades Publishing, Inc. He quickly and accurately sized up the situation and offered assistance in publishing a new international journal in English. Since then, we have been constantly backed by the support, care and consideration of publisher's staff. We have been developing and expanding together.

Studies on Russian Economic Development

Our collaboration with Pleiades Publishing has allowed our journal to go beyond Russian borders, and we highly appreciate that. Looking for an interested reader among foreign subscribers to economic literature, favoring formation of an unbiased attitude towards Russia while estimating its economic standing, is the company's important mission, which is difficult to overestimate. I would like to underline with gratitude the high publishing standard of your journals, their modern design, high quality, and the tight schedule of production. These assets undoubtedly serve as incentives in our work.

The Physics of Metals and Metallography

It is especially pleasant for us as your company's foundation date coincides with the beginning of our cooperation. The Physics of Metals and Metallography was among the first with whom Pleiades Publishing started collaboration. We are happy to have made the right choice in our time. Owing to your efforts, the results of Russian scientists' research have become more available to foreign colleagues.

Laser Physics

Our international scientific journal happened to be among the first with whom Pleiades Publishing began its publishing activity. We trusted this young company and chose the way of common development. The results of this fruitful partnership are evident: the journal's own web page, electronic proofing, etc. The number of countries whose scientists contribute to the journal has increased to 50. Scientists from 11 countries are in the journal's editorial board.
